It aims to:
- Promote access, motivation and achievement in education and training, strengthening international competitiveness
- Promote lifelong learning by helping people to understand clear progression routes
- Avoid duplication and overlap of qualifications while making sure all learning needs are covered
- Promote public and professional confidence in the integrity and relevance of national awards

NCHSC
This programme is designed to improve your international career prospects by giving you an internationally recognized supervisory qualification that will enable you to get better jobs and enjoy a better career anywhere in the world.
The programme is not a method of gaining employment in the UK and our application process will make sure that you are a serious student who wants to study hard and improve your career prospects by gaining these qualifications.
The care sector in the UK is very complicated (highly regulated) and there are many laws and rules under the ‘Care Standards Act’ that will take you time to learn and understand when you first arrive in the UK and as you complete your programme. Due to this, the course length differs from programmes given to experienced learners in the UK who are used to these rules, as extra time is given for you to learn these new rules and adapt to your new working and living environment. This allows you time to learn and practice new professional skills and for time to ‘consolidate’ what you have learned by using these skills in a period of structured work experience.
Why should you join?
- The course is approved by the UK Border Agency and gives you a fantastic opportunity to develop yourself personally and professionally.
- The programme will give you the professional skills to work all over the world with the prospects of better wages and a brighter future.
- Your placement will allow you to practice the professional skills you have learned on the course and will also provide the opportunity for you to be assessed throughout the course.
- You will earn a minimum of £11.500 a year before tax, allowing you to concentrate on your studies in the knowledge that you will earn enough money to pay for your stay in the UK.
